How to Set Up an Online Roster to Reflect a Rotating Goalie
At younger ages, its common to have the goalie position shared by two or more team members. These members may be a goalie in one game and a player in the next.
There’s a way to set up the online team roster to easily address this situation.
When you have multiple goalies, you’ll need to choose the correct goalie that the game when you enter game results into Goalline. It’s imperative that the gamesheet accurately reflect the game’s goalie. Remember, when you’re the visiting team it is others that will be entering the results into Goalline.

- For each dual-role player, set up two entries…using the role as a suffix to make each entry unique

- Reflect this on game sheet stickers as well
- For a given game, the attendance (on the gamesheet sticker and Goalline) should indicate the entry for the player in the role appropriate for that game. The other entry for the player should be indicated as absent.
